Anti-Drift Turning Rolls, also known as Anti-Creep Rotators, Anti-Drift Rotators, Anti-Drift Welding Rolls, and Anti-Drift Rollerbeds, are designed to minimize longitudinal displacement, commonly referred to as the screw effect. At the same time, the vessel rotates a substantial number of turns. It is essential when welding vessels of significant thickness. Unlike Conventional Welding Rotators or Self-Aligned Turning Rolls, which do not address the screw effect, Anti-Drift Rollers Beds ensure an axis vessel accuracy of ±3.0 mm. This precision is achieved through the use of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and a Sensor Automatic Anti-Drift Controller. The screw effect can occur due to several reasons, including: 1) Irregular workpiece (out of roundness), 2) An unbalanced center of gravity, 3) Non-cylindrical geometries of the workpiece, such as a cone, 4) An uneven shop floor, 5) Misalignment of the roller beds, or 6) A combination of these factors.

CONVERSION DEVICE FROM CONVENTIONAL TO ANTI-DRIFT ROLLERBED

IRIZAR_NEW_TECHNOLOGY.jpg

Irizar Heavy Industries Inc. is engaged in research, manufacturing, and testing of several advanced technologies related to our field. One notable innovation is a device that will transform any conventional welding rotator, regardless of the supplier, into an Anti-Drift model. This groundbreaking technology is unique worldwide and will be the first of its kind. We will have three models of conversion kits: 1) From 100 to 250 MT, 2) From 400 to 600 MT, and 3) From 800 to 1,200 MT.
